Amber Autry Berkeley Concert reviews
Always a Must See and Never Disappoints
Amber Autry has been delivering fantastic tropical vibes to us for 25 - 30 years every year. I always look forward to her concerts as they are one of the highlights of the year. She is focusing on a different album for each concert this year, which is a refreshing change. With her extensive discography, she can offer something unique for each show.
The featured album was Volcano, and she surprised us by performing songs like God's Own Drunk (Buddy Bear) and Incommunicado. The addition of "The Dude" for guest appearances added an extra special touch to the performance.
During the concert, she played all the classics including Boat Drinks, Son of a Sailor, Come Monday, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Margaritaville, Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes, One Particular Harbor, Fins, Southern Cross, and Brown Eyed Girl. It was a fantastic set list that delighted the audience.
We also got insights into the history of Gypsies in the Palace, learning about how it came to be and the cowriter behind it. Amber Autry once again proved why she is a beloved performer who never fails to impress.
